It has long been our dream to create a place where people come to relax, enjoy good company, and eat great food. More recently we have added to this dream the desire to support our local community and food systems by offering fare prepared from the most environmentaly friendly, sustainably farmed and freshest local goods available. We love our community and We love our farmers!
The Red Porch Dinner Club is a social dining experience supported by patron donations. The dinner party nature of our gatherings limits our capacity, but in turn lends itself to good conversation and the building of new friendships.

About Us
Keith and I both grew up in Washington, he on the east side of the mountains and I on the west. When reminiscing about childhood we both share the deepest fondness for the time spent enjoying the company of our friends, family and good cooking. Our relationships with food took different courses but ultimately brought us to the same place.
As Keith joined the workforce taking various jobs in a handful of restaurants, he began to develop the sense of joy and satisfaction in cooking for others that eventually led him to culinary school in Maui, Hi. With a degree in restaurant supervision in hand and wealth of culinary knowledge he returned to Washington and began working at the Alpine Inn Restaurant at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. In addition to preparing beautiful meals, he was afforded the joy of seasonal living in a place that allowed him to pursue his other love, skiing, and eventually the love of his life...
I was raised in a region of long growing seasons, mild weather, farm land, rivers and a not too distant body of saltwater. By virtue of this setting, and my fathers love of fishing and food, I enjoyed the fresh, simple luxury of pacific northwestern cuisine. As I stepped out on my own and began attending university in Missoula Montana I became aware of how much quality food mattered to me. With farmers market, the Good Food Store and numerous community gardens, I was in heaven. After graduating I soon found myself employed at Crystal Mountain, where I would soon find myself in love with a chef.
Keith and I spent part of a vacation at my family’s long vacant farmstead and we knew, as we sat on the porch enjoying the peace, that it would be our life's work to preserve this family heirloom and bring our dreams to life in this place. We made the move to Trego the next year and began getting things in order. We planted a garden, got some chickens and had a baby. The next step for us was the foundation of this dinner club. Step to where, we aren’t sure, but we hope you will come along for the ride.
